NEW MAKEUP BRUSHES Review

Hello again
The other week I was on Amazon trying to find a good set of make-up brushes that weren't overpriced and good quality. I have a couple of Real Techniques brushes, and as much as I love them, they are around £8 for one and I know that I can get equally as good ones for a much cheaper price. And voila, that's just what I did.

I came across a pack a 4 brushes that looked like they were for your foundation and base. I looked at the reviews and they seemed to be really good so I took the risk and ordered them. I got 4 brushes for £3.75 (I think). They came a couple of days ago and I am so so so happy with them. The quality is AMAZING. There isn't that chemically smell that I know you get with some cheaper make-up brushes. There has been no shedding and they aren't thin.

HERE is where you can buy the brushes. There is a range of colours to pick from, but I chose the white. I'm pretty sure they also have some eye make-up brushes as well.

Below are some pictures of the brushes and what I'm going to be using them for.

Okay, here is the first brush. It's a round angled brush, and I use this for contouring with a darker foundation. It picks up the product really well and because the bristles are dense it buffs it in so so well.

The second brush, below, is a flat top stippling brush. I use this to apply my all over face foundation. Its the best brush I have ever used to apply my foundation. I used to use the real Techniques expert face brush, and I do love that brush, but it's quite small for all my face, its more ideal for concealer under the eyes. This new brush however is a lot bigger and is still very dense so works the product into my skin for a flawless look.

The next brush is similar to the first one, but not angled. I actually haven't used this brush yet as I have only had them a couple of days and not really worn a full face of make-up. However, I definetly will use it as its just as good quality as the rest of the brushes. I think this will be ideal for cream blusher, highlighter or contour.

The last brush is a slightly different shape to the rest. Its a pointed brush, and oh my gosh the bristles are so dense its unreal. I use this brush to blend in concealer on my face and under my eyes as the point is really good to focus in areas and get into the corner of my eye. I think this brush might be my favourite out of the four, it's just such good quality.

The only bad thing I have to say is that it says free delivery, but when I've gone back and checked my confirmation email, 30p was added for postage and packaging which I wasn't aware about. However, it's only 30p and I'm not really bothered because the brushes are worth it.
Anyone who is just starting to love make-up and wants to experiment with some cheap brushes NEEDS these. For the price, they are so worth it. I honestly would pay the price of high end brushes for these.
They also make great gifts. I bought an extra set for my Mum for Mothers Day and I know she will love them.

Hope this post was helpful!!
See you soon.

TOPSHOP Lip Liner FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Hey guys!
This is my first ever post on my new blog!

I've always been a huge lover of make-up and trying out new things, so I thought, why not make a place where I can share my favourite products with anyone and everyone.

Last week I went into Topshop in Manchester just having a look. I always take a look at the make-up there are the prices are really good and the quality is just as good as drug store make-up. I ALMOST bought a lipstick, but I was more drawn towards the lip liners. There were only a few colours, but the two that caught my eye were 'Deception' and 'Ceramic'. They were only £5 each (bargain!!!!) and they have been a new favourite of mine.

I am a huge lover of purple lip colours, and Deception is my new favourite. Its a dark purple, slightly pink lip liner. It has a velvety texture and applies like a dream.

Its SUPER long lasting. I can apply this early morning, go to Sixth Form, and when I check my make-up at lunch, there is only a small touch up needed (bear in mind I drink crazy amounts of water constantly so some lip liner may rub off onto the bottle lid).
Especially due to the fact that its purple, it almost stains your lips because the colours so dark, which is a good thing for me as I love love love purple.
If I'm going shopping or to a party, I would pair this with a clear gloss over the top, Pussywillow from the Sharon Osborne collection by MAC is a personal favourite, or put a similar colour lipstick over the top to make it more bold and last that little it longer.

Ceramic is a more browny nude shade. It's perfect for the everyday look where you don't want a bold lip and are going for something more subtle.
I've been looking for my perfect nude shade, and although Ceramic is good, its not my favourite (I think that Velvet Teddy from MAC will be my perfect nude, but I am doing everything in my power to try and find something better first).
Again its long lasting, but I find that this colour fades first as it isn't as bold and doesn't stain the lip as much. It applies the same as Deception, very smooth on dry and moisturised lips.
I wear this lip when I have a darker eye and I want more focus on that area than my lips.
Again, like Deception, it is lovely on its own, but does look amazing with a gloss on the top. Because this isn't a bold colour, a pink or peach gloss would go perfect over the top, but again, I think Pussywillow from MAC looks amazing.

Here are some swatches and pictures of the lip liners.

Without flash (sorry for the shadow)

Overall, I do really love these products. I think for the price, they are a must have for people who are on a budget but still want to have good quality products, and they would definetly be a good item to have if your just starting a make-up collection, as you can never have to many lip products!!

If you managed to get to the end, thank you :)
Feedback would be appreciated so that I can make my blog the best it can be
Hope you enjoyed this post and I'll see you again very soon!
